Good morning dears, love having you here. I have two houses for your enjoyment today.
The first one is Located on Kullen, a peninsula in Sweden.

The following photographs belong to our second home. A white cottage located on Vätö in the Stockholm archipelago. A fine balance between old and new, casual and unique.

Hi, Kifus - So wonderful to find you posting more and more Swedish houses!!! Both homes are simply delightful and very Swedish. No one does light floors like the Swedes! Thanks for today's inspirations....I love both homes!!
ReplyDeleteI love white painted floors, Loi. But somehow I cannot bring myself to have them at home. I think I will be forever cleaning them! I must say I am quite content to admire them in other homes!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
hmmm suffice to say I pinned almost every photo you showed...
ReplyDeleteLovely homes!
Kifus: in Sweden, like in other Scandinavian countries, you have to take off your shoes once you get in. I guess that's how they keep those floors perfectly clean!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine you battling us to take our shoes off :P
love you
We should really do this, take our shoes off and wear socks or slippers inside. Hard to change our ways now. But we could try!
DeleteLove you ♥

ReplyDeletesomeday i hope to visit sweden, someday.......sigh

debra
Oh no, Debra, that house is not mine! Wish it was, though! Of course I said "our" second house as in yours and mine, ours to enjoy!

Kifus,
ReplyDeleteI do love the homes located in Sweden that you've shown us...these 2 are very pretty, but the first of this post is my favorite of the two. It has such a cottage feel to it. Simple, maybe a little smaller, yet comfortable. The ceiling in the bedroom of the first home, as well as the sky light is so wonderful.
I'm with you, I admire the clean beauty of white wood floors but I fear they'd make me crazy. Good to know these things about ourselves, I think.
Karen
P.S. When I first read your introduction to the second home, like Debra, I thought it was your second home. That would be nice. :-)
