Antiques Dealer's Apartment in San Telmo

Good Saturday morning my sweet readers!
I'm sure this post will bring about as many interesting reactions as the one I did on Iris Apfel's apartment here.

This particular apartment is located in San Telmo, the oldest neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, characterized by its well-preserved colonial buildings. It belongs to antiques dealer Silvia Petroccia, and it is in the same building and right above her antiques shop.

I would love to hear your thoughts on Silvia's apartment and her unusual style!

  3. ¡No veo ninguna foto, ni en el newsletter ni acá! Pero evidentemente otras personas sí. ¿Qué habrá pasado? Nunca me ocurrió antes. ¡Justo cuando mostrás un departamento de Buenos Aires! Tu blog me encanta, siempre mostrás cosas interesantísimas. Un abrazo.

Muchísimas gracias por tu comentario! Creo que es el primer comentario que me hace alguien de Argentina (que no sean mis parientes, ja!)

  8. Lovely to look at, but I don't think it's something I'd be comfortable or relaxed in.

  9. Very like set pieces in a theatre production, not sure I could live like that but it's very interesting, and creative. Some ideas are lovely and could be adapted in a more comfortable home.

  10. So many interesting and unusual things to look at. The owner is, no doubt, a very interesting person, as well.

  12. Now if only the walls could talk! I love the spirituality of the space. Very inspiring! Also, the peices shown throughout the apartment are on a larger scale which is what also creates the extreme drama. The art is so original and fabulous too.
