Today's tour, from Period Living, takes us to Pays de la Loire, in France. This home had been abandoned for over 50 years.
Warmth and lots of colour in every room.

Above the door a part of a balcony railing.
Milk pots are displayed in the kitchen. Each one bears the same colours of an item of furniture that has been painted.
The owners paint and sell boxes like the one above.

Kifus,
ReplyDeleteThis house clearly is being loved after 50 years of abandonment. A veritable riot of color would lift the spirits of most anyone.

Kifus...I love how artistic this home is. What a creative home owner...did they paint the furniture themselves or did they just collect painted furniture? Simply beautiful and very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThey painted all the furniture themselves. A very creative couple, indeed. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteWelcome back Kifus!
ReplyDeleteThe owners have some fairly impressive collections going on as well.
The egg baskets are great.....
wow, certainly not my favourite of your featured homes. I can appreciate it, but not fond of the frenetic feel it has!
ReplyDeleteLol, Anne, the word frenetic made me laugh. It is certainly a busy house and I know it is not a style for all tastes, but I like to show something different every now and then. Thanks for commenting!
DeleteIt's funny when I lived in Paris I was amazed at how much the French love bright colours. There were lots of fashion and home accessories in zingy colours of lime green and citrus yellow. Usually I love the pared down look of muted faded colours but I have to admit I'm really drawn to the yellow of the sofa! Thank you for sharing something different!
