Two homes for you today my friends. Interior designers Jim Grundström and Alexander Stenfeldt decorated the first one. Not many photographs, this is why I decided to show you a second home.

Gustavian Style in Sweden

Good morning, my friends! My husband and I are leaving for the USA tonight. I'll be away until next Sunday. I don't think I'll be able to post during my trip. I promise I will try.

This house in northern Sweden, built 150 years ago had been empty for almost 40 years because 15 cousins could not agree what to do with it. Fortunately they finally sold it and this is what it looks like now.

More Scandinavian Houses!

Not all Scandinavian houses are minimalistic as the one in the previous post. These two houses share the subdued colours typical of the Scandinavian style but they are far from minimalistic! Full of personal objects, they are cozy, warm, and inviting. Which style do you prefer?

I love Scandinavian white houses. They are so airy and bright. Here is a minimalistic house by the sea. Lots of white. Lots of light. Totally bare walls. Might this be your style?
