Far from yesterday's boisterous, colourful home, we shall tour a peaceful (as the basket in the sitting room clearly claims) house in Bodø, a town in Nordland county, Norway. It was among the final candidates in Boligpluss magazine competition for the most beautiful homes in 2011
Today's tour, from Period Living, takes us to Pays de la Loire, in France. This home had been abandoned for over 50 years. Warmth and lots of colour in every room.
Above the door a part of a balcony railing.
Milk pots are displayed in the kitchen. Each one bears the same colours of an item of furniture that has been painted.
The owners paint and sell boxes like the one above.
Dear friends, here I am, back from my, no matter how long, always short holidays with all the family. I thank you all for your patience and lovely comments and promise I will visit your blogs shortly.
Today's home is located in the village of Lervik, in Sweden.
