Orange & Green Rustic House

If someone had told me my house would be green and orange, I would have raised an eyebrow (even when I can't) and thought I don't think so. Now, having looked at this house I have changed my mind. The soft greens and bold oranges here are relaxing and warm. Simple furniture and some exotic touches make this rustic two level house very inviting.



















Even the towels are green and orange.

    Oh Kifus, questo arredamento in interno mi piace molto... la casa costruita in questo modo così rustico e privo di ambizione, ma molto semplice e pieno di effetto ci fà venire la voglia di trasferirci in questa casa !!

    This is a beautiful home and I love the orange as an accent color. There was a home in our previous neighborhood that the owners had painted every room bright orange! At night with the lights on it looked like a jack-a-lantern.

    You asked about the wording on two pieces of my pottery. These are apothecary jars from the 18th century. I have never been able to find a translation except for "yimpt" which means measure or volumn. Thanks for your visit.

    Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!! Warm, but not stifling. Comfortable, but not heavy. Cheerful, but not screaming. LOVE the peacock pictures, the soft orange- especially the striped pillows. I'm not really a green person, I love blue, but this is a lovely home! Thanks for the visit! As always, a delight!

    I use green and a rosy peach in my own living room - very grounding and relaxing. Just what I need after a long day!

    The orange here is much more bold than my rosy peach, and I LOVE it. The pillows in the living room are superb: orange and chartreuse are so fresh and mod. They definitely help the home avoid that "grandma's farmhouse" look. :-)
