Restored Farmhouse in Spain

Some of the old farmhouses of the historic region of Ampurdán, Girona, in Spain, have been rescued from oblivion by its current owners, lovers of the area. It is the case of this fourteenth century building, located in the center of Old Madremanya, which was completely restored respecting its original materials. A real beauty. Come and see.

  5. Very pretty. I can't imagine restoring such an old place. I have to laugh because we have had a bit of trouble selling our place which was built in the 40's--people don't always want to spend time and money renovating. We are hoping to close on the sale of our house soon....but you never know how things can fall through at the last moment!
