Designer's Delight in Denmark

I have featured Katrine Martensen-Larssen's styled homes before, so if you missed them just go here for the house in Denmark and here for the house in Sweden. Katrine is a stylist and writer. Based in London, she runs her own firm called KML Design. She not only decorates homes but provides written material for magazines and commercial clients.

The house we are visiting today is called Designer's Delight. It belongs to Danish clothing and jewellery designer Marlene Juhl Jørgensen. It is located in a village named Tisvilde, one of a string of old fishing villages which make up one of the most popular summer retreat areas in Denmark on the northern coast of Sealand.

I don't speak Danish but I had google translate the word Solkrogen on the sign and it said "sun trap". Nice word for a sunny breakfast spot outside.

Hope you enjoyed this tour. Have a splendid Wednesday!

  1. Beautiful house - beautifully styled!

Whenever you feature a house on the Scandinavian coast I want to pack my bags and move!

    So restful...
