Renovated in Sweden

Maria had lots of work ahead when she bought this house in 2003. From removing the entire ceiling to knocking down most of the indoor walls to create space. It is located in Ekero, just 40 minutes away from Stockholm.

  1. Kifus,
What a nice job she did. The house is so sweet and fresh, I love all the white wood walls. The grounds look great as well, wow, a bathtub outside, is the water warm? :-) I also liked the sheers she hung around the patio table. Very nice.

  2. It's very Swedish and very charming, Kifus. I love all of Maria's painted furniture. I do not know Ekero....will have to check out next time I'm near Stockholm.

  4. Swedish houses are always so fresh and white. I love the old bath but not sure that I would be brave enough to soak in the garden.

  6. I don't think I'll ever get tired of looking at white interiors- especially Swedish ones! They're so soothing and calm. This one is gorgeous - love the small amount of grey on some of the furniture - perfect!
