First let's have a look at the floor plan:
Thanks to a skylight (2) there's plenty of natural light in the entryway. Separating the kitchen and dining area (5) from the shower and toilet area (3) there is the bed (4) right on top of a storage unit which opens to both sides and a small desk at the end.
Recessed halogen spotlights over the desk and in every niche.
A bookcase lines one of the walls in the entryway.
Dining area right by the window.
Small fridge under the countertop.
Storage room right under the bed. Household cleaning supplies, a vacuum and bulky suitcases are stored here.

ReplyDeleteThat is what I love about European living..its so simple yet all your needs are still being met.I loved the apartment my husband and I rented for a week last year when we were in Paris.
ReplyDeleteI think I would feel like a mouse in a hole....I would feel claustrophobic......I like the idea of simple living and this was interesting....but I don't think I could do it this way. I lived for a while in a one room cottage and enjoyed it....but it was more homey than this.
