Restored Home in France

Interior designer Muriel Dana loved reading the novel Les Malheurs de Sophie ("Sophie's Misfortunes") by Sophie, Countess of Segur. She renovated this home in France just as she imagined Sophie's home would be. French flair in every room.

  2. I must say this is exactly how I imagine the rooms to be when I read Jane Austen's novels. Now I have added Sophie's Misfortunes to my reading list!
