This villa stands on the hills facing Lake Orta, in Northern Italy. It is called Rossi House and has been restored preserving the original 18th century frescoes and other period architectural elements. Tour time, my friends!

ReplyDeletethere are some pieces of the design that are really beautiful and the structure is magnificent but some other furniture (like the sofas) I think that they are unsuitable compare to the atmosphere. :)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you Matyldina. I even hesitated before adding the picture with those sofas, but well, I like to show everything so that each one of you can decide what they like or don't like. Thanks so much for your comment. I was expecting it!
Delete;) sorry for the late! but I'm under exams to the university... I agree with your philosophy (show everything)! Your website is beautiful and interesting, and I like to see pictures and to say what I would change... those sofas are so dull compared to the rest of furniture :( (sorry if my English is bad I am doing my best)
DeleteWhat a wonderful home. Look at those hand painted walls! WOW
ReplyDeleteSo glad they didn't decide to paint them over!!
DeleteKifus,
ReplyDeleteI think I like the outside of this villa as much as anything. I did like some of the interior detailing but it was a little too formal for my taste. The grounds are to die for!
