I'd like to thank you for your kind wishes for Mother's Day. I had a wonderful day and hope you all did too!
Something different today, my friends. This house, located in Massachusetts, was built in 1762 and restored by Sharon Jones and Jeffrey Casdin.

I love the wall of windows that are on the bump out of the back of the house. What a view in the fall when the trees are in full color. The fencing and tuteurs in the front garden are pretty.
ReplyDeleteGreat American house. Looks so homey and inviting. Quilts, antique furniture and warm woods with lots of beautiful windows.

P.S. The urns on my blog are mine.
Kifus,
ReplyDeleteI've been to Massachusetts and I loved the houses and the state! I love the beams and the brick wall. What I wouldn't give for aged beams. The mural on the walls of the foyer is so pretty, subtle, neutral and beautiful.

Kifus - Love this house! Love the rustic and natural feel. Some americans think this more "primitive" look is dated and it was VERY popular in the 80's...however, I feel that it is making a real come-back now with younger antique/decor lovers. I love the simplicity of this look. It's timeless!
