I must say the house itself is breathtaking, I love these solid old houses with their splendid gardens but I don't care much for the decor. Wouldn't you change the furniture in the living room and dining room? Let me know what you think.

Oh my, what a lovely home! And being in Aix makes it even more wonderful! Thanks for stopping by and saying hi.
ReplyDeleteStunningly beautiful. Thanks for sharing these fabulous pics!
ReplyDeleteLovely home and property. I agree, I don't dig the furniture either. A correction: Aix en Provence is not in the Cote d'Azur.
ReplyDeleteHi Kifus,
ReplyDeletela Francia è veramente molto romantica ...
Thanks all of you for your comments. Frenchee, I rushed to wikipedia and ths is what I found:
ReplyDeleteI quote: "Aix-en-Provence (Provençal Occitan: Ais de Provença in classical norm, or Ais de Prouvènço in Mistralian norm, both pronounced [ˈajs de pʀuˈvɛⁿsɔ] or [zaj])[citation needed] to distinguish it from other cities built over hot springs, is a city in southern France, some 30 km (19 mi) north of Marseille. It is in the region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône."

Hope you all have a great week!
Hello Kifus!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place to live! I could have done a lot of not-so-nice things to have been able to live there, haha! But I agree with you, the interior is not suitable to the house at all. (But I must admit that I feel that many of these furniture does not fit in anywhere..)Just like you, I think the dining room differed especially out, and I mean not on the whole better way..
Fortunately, furnitures can be replaced fairly easily :) I must say Kifus, I admire your talent to find beautiful homes and present them on your blog, and you have no idea how much your posts inspires me! Keep ut the good work :)
