Retreat in Aspen

This beautiful retreat was built by architect Eric J. Smith in a valley just outside Aspen, Colorado. The owners appointed interior designer David Easton to creat a home that would remind them of the French countryside.

Coffered ceilings, gilded vintage mirror above a limestone fireplace and reclaimed-oak floors for the sitting room. Beauvais carpet.

Open floor plan bring the sitting room and the dining room together.

Natural look for the beams in the family and breakfast rooms. Beauvais needlepoint carpet. Nineteenth-century French side tables.

Painted oak cabinets and bird-motif tiles.

Soft soothing palette in the master bedroom.

Leaf print adds to the summer feeling of the loggia.

The backyard’s pergola-covered seating and dining area has a working fireplace.

    Domanda:
