Forgot to mention - my sister had those chairs, from the dining room. But they started falling apart, especially the backs, and to repair them would have cost a fortune. She had to give them away, much to my regret, and bought some new.
ReplyDeleteIt is really a pity when one can't repair the things we have because of the cost. I also have some chairs in need of repair, but I'm keeping them until I find a way (and the time) to fix them myself!

What a daring contrast between the exterior and the interior of this house. I definitely like the interior so much more than the gorgeous interior. True English elegance! I hope the owners manage to renew the exterior too a bit ;-) so that both aspects of this house are great. Very nice house!
