The article on the renovation process is quite interesting. Most of it was done by the owners but for the roof they needed a master thatcher. Kevin says that he found nearly two tons of junk in the old thatch!

How lovely to see this. My aunt's cottage in County Limerick had a layout just like this & it's wonderful to see just what can be done with what is a series of very small spaces. The bedrooms are fantastic because the spaces really are tiny.
